Umno Can Betray Others Openly?

When the Chinese parties (MCA, DAP & Gerakan) sat down to discuss the threat of chinese education in the 80's, Umno made hell lot of noise and all sort of baseless accusations were followed by Malay heroes. So in this country, other races cannot discuss about unity?

Now, Umno can openly tell the world that they were, since 8 March, talking to PAS for the sake of Malay unity and other races should not be worried about it. This is the kind of joke that Umno politician cracked...and they are the leaders of the boleh land. When other races want to get united, Umno protest. When Umno do the same thing behind and quietly, this is for the good of the nation (they have to admit lah since it is already exposed).

A blogger call Dr. sidiq wrote about Lim Kit Siang not happy about the meeting between Umno & PAS. Tell me how to be happy when there is double or tripple standard in this country? When the bunch of Trengganu Umno assemblyman criticised the Sultan in the Menteri Besar issue, it seems to be OK but when Lim Kit Siang criticised (despite the fact that he appologised in less than 24 hours) Sultan Perak, he has been labelled as a person who is disrespect "the Malay" and "menghina Sultan Perak''. Of course, we have to thank Utusan Malaysia for playing up the issue. This is how arragant is the Umno peoples. Opps, same happened to Perlis.

Also read another comments in Dr Sidiq post "Neutralkan Politik Diri Anda" , about power sharing in Malaysia- Yes, for show only lah! Can a non Malay hold the portfolio as Finance Minister, Home Minister, or Education Minister nowaday? Is it so difficult to find a non malay that qualified for the job? The commentor also talk about many non malay in the Parliament. Do you know that this is because of Umno need the non Malay votes (this is the fact)? that is the reason why the non malay is still there in the parliament. If any of this non Malay law makers do not support Umno's proposal, you will not see this non malay MPs in the next GE.

I think the Umno radicals also have to be thankful that they were born in Malaysia because you are born with protection by law. In Malaysia, other races are willing to work hard to make sure that the counry's economy is sustainable so that there are always food on the table for you and help you to growth. Imagine if you were born in our neigbouring country, you may end up have to naik sampan and travel across the sea to seek for good life in Malaysia, if you ever cross the sea and reach Malaysia.

I guess it is rather unfortunate for most of the Malay in Malaysia because they are unable to enjoy the benefits that affirmative action should have brought to them. Umno has so far failed to help the Malay in rural areas. Umno also made use of the kampong peoples's vote to secure their position politically. I'm not sure how the Malays being marginalised in Singapore. But many of them own a house bigger than mine in JB.
