I see it no point to give Abdullah a few more months to complete his unfinished tasks. Since he announced his March 2009 retirement plan, he dropped a bom by appointing Tan Sri Zaki Azmi as Chief Justice. Zaki Azmi is a former UMNO member, he has a very close political and business ties with UMNO and therefor, his ability to impartially judge a case against UMNO or the government is in question. He is not deemed to be independent.
How to restore public confidence in the independence, impartiality and integrity of the judiciary? Where are we now in the reform of judicial system? What happen to the setting up of the committee to review the appointment of high court judges. AAB is just a big liar.
Now, I'm afraid the longer AAB is in power, the situation can only be worsen For the sake of the country, I wish to see AAB retires NOW! A day more is too much for him and too detrimental to the country.
